Hey ya'll my name is Ryan MacLatchie and I am a junior here at NC State. I was born in Santa Monica, California to a long line of Sigma Nu's. My father and cousin were both Sigma Nu's at the University of Southern California (Epsilon Omicron) and my uncle was a Sigma Nu at UCLA (Epsilon Pi). I have grown up surrounded with the Sigma Nu ideals of Love, Honor, and Truth and am determined to pass them on to every person I meet. I moved to Charlotte, North Carolina in the year 2000 with my parents, Scott Sr. and Laurie, and my brothers Scott Jr. and Andrew and have loved every minute of it. Although I miss the beach and my hometown Dodgers, I have found that Southern living is truly all it is cracked up to be: fun, friendly, and good food (I love me some banana pudding). I attended Providence High School in Charlotte and was an accomplished DECA member (VP of my chapter, winning my district, second in the state, and ninth in the world in Sports/Entertainment Marketing Management) as well as a graduate in the top 10% of my class of over 500 members. I chose NC State because they offered a strong Sport Management program and because I quite frankly look better in red than any shade of blue. As the Beta Tau Historian and Alumni Relations Chairman, I am dedicated in making our Sigma Nu chapter a "Rock Chapter" by promoting positive images of the fraternity around campus, keeping in contact with our large alumni base, and by recruiting quality gentlemen.
