Bio

I am from Eden, NC and was born in Morehead Memorial Hospital. I graduated from J. M. Morehead Senior High School and then moved to Raleigh. Since I have been in the great city of Raleigh I have lived in Wood Hall dorms and then The College Inn Student Apartments, I now live in University Suites which is a townhome community. My first major in at NCSU was Biomedical Engineering and my second is Business with a focus in entrepreneurship. I will also graduate with 2 minors one in mathematics and one in Spanish. In my free time I like to hang out with my brothers and close friends, relax, and work on ways to better candidate education. That being through networking and finding new untapped resources to coming up with new activities to build teamwork and brotherhood within the candidate class. I currently work as a security officer at Meredith College where I do everything from answering emergency calls (kill spiders/bugs) to ticketing unwanted guest for trespassing.

To be honest when I came to college I had no plans to join a Fraternity. I thought they were all "frats" and I couldn't picture myself being a part of something so superficial. However over my first semester in college I heard of Sigma Nu and how it was a FRATERNITY of MEN. I was recruited by our current Chaplain Murphy Hall after skeptically going through the rush process. Joining Sigma Nu changed my perceptions of some fraternities on campus and I feel that becoming part of this organization was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I now have relationships with Brothers that will last me a lifetime; I have also made many connections on campus by being part of the Greek life system.

I feel that through hard work and dedication I can better our fraternity by developing an award winning LEAD (Leadership Ethics Achievement and Development) Phase I program. For those of you who do not know that is our Candidate Education program and we have won Excellence in LEAD Phase I for 2 years running. LEAD Phase I is just one of the duties of being the Marshal. I officially hold the title as the Candidate Marshal of the Beta Tau Chapter of Sigma Nu Fraternity Inc., but I also serve on a variety of committees.
