Bio

My name is Christopher Brenton and I am a born and raised North Carolinian. I was born in Charlotte but moved about 30 minutes east from there to the town of Midland when I was about 5. I am a Junior majoring in Marketing with a minor in Design Studies. My dream would be to work as a marketing consultant for a high end advertising firm but who knows. I am just enjoying college until I get to that point.

Going Greek was not an unexpected experience for me. My brother-in-law got me interested in the idea of joining a fraternity when I was in high school by telling me stories of the great experiences he had in his fraternity at Davidson College. Ever since then I have been really enthusiastic about the potential being in a Fraternity will bring and I am super excited to be a part of the process of rebuilding Sigma Nu at NC State.

Some other things about me:
I have always enjoyed sports. I participated in athletics year-round in high school and I have always tried my best to stay active. I was on the Soccer, Swimming, Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field, and Cross Country teams. My senior year I co-captained the Track and Field Team and the Cross Country team. I was also very active in clubs at my school. I participated in National Honor Society, National Art Honor Society, and Beta Club and I served as an officer in Key Club (President) and in Mu Alpha Theta (Treasurer). I really enjoyed these experiences in high school and I try to bring the same amount of passion into fulfilling my role in the fraternity.

I feel confident that Sigma Nu is doing great things at NC State. I am really proud to have become a part of this awesome experience. I know we have a great group of guys and I am always anxious to see where Sigma Nu will take me next. My role in building this fraternity and making it into a Rock Chapter is to "be the change I want to see." By working hard I will help to push myself and my brothers forward.
