On April 21st, 2012 Sigma Nu Fraternity of NC State will be hosting its 3rd annual St. Baldrick's Shaving event to help raise money for childhood cancer! Please donate here to help make our goal of $80,000 a possibility!
Last year, the chapter helped raise over $40,000 for pediatric cancer research. The event won the Deborah S. Moore Service Award which is a prestigious award given for NC State’s best service project of the year. Along with over 100 shavees, 20 individuals were registered in the national bone marrow registry Be The Match, and 3 children were sponsored on behalf of Make a Child Smile!
In the US, more children die of childhood cancer than any other disease. Please make a donation or register to volunteer at our event to support childhood cancer research so that all children diagnosed with cancer will have a better chance for a cure. To make a donation or register to be a volunteer/shavee please click on the "GET INVOLVED" banner to the right. Thank you for your support!
